How long does the program take, and how is it delivered?
The program is 120 semester credit hours across 25 courses, with a recommended completion time of 48 months. You’ll complete coursework online. Transfer credits count toward the 120 hours, so prior coursework may shorten the path to program completion.
Which roles can this degree prepare me for?
The Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies can prepare you for roles as a paralegal, legal assistant, litigation paralegal, paralegal specialist, and many others. Paralegals often handle work once performed by entry-level lawyers, which is why law firms, in-house legal departments, government agencies, and health systems keep hiring them.
Do I need an entrance exam or an application fee?
No. There’s no application fee, essay, or entrance exam.

Paralegals may not provide legal services directly to the public, except as permitted by law. Students must take at least nine semester credits or the equivalent of legal specialty courses through synchronous instruction.
